ZTR will supply 26 transformers and reactors for Ukrenergo

The project is financed by EBRD within the scope of Energy strategy of Ukraine

“Zaporozhtransformator” PJSC (ZTR) has signed the Contract for complex supply of transformers and reactors for “Ukrenergo” SE NEC. Based on the Contract ZTR will manufacture 7 autotransformers rated for 333 MVA, 750/330 kV, 11 transformers rated for 92 MVA, 110 kV, 2,5 MVA, 35 kV, 2,5 MVA, 10 kV and 8 reactors 110 MVAr, 750 kV and 2,7 MVAr, 35 kV, within the framework of the project purposed ofr construction of high voltage transmission line 750 kV Zaporozhskaya NPP – Kakhovskaya with sunstation “Kakhovskaya” (Ukraine, Kherson region). The scope of supply also includes monitoring system manufactured by ZTR.

Equipment was ordered by one of “ZRE” PJSC strategic partners within Ukraine territory -  “Ukrenergo” SE NEC. The project for construction of transmission line is aimed mainly at improvement of safety of operating duties as referred to consolidated power system of Ukraine. The project is financed by European Bank of Reconstruction and Development.

ZTR equipment is successfully operated at “Ukrenergo” SE NEC objects and Оборудование ЗТР успешно эксплуатируется на объектах НЭК «Укрэнэрго» и has a high level reputation. It was one pf the factors for decision making as for selection of the supplier of transformers and reactors in favor of “Zaporozhtransformator” PJSC.

Currently the order is under manufacturing process. Dispatch is scheduled for the year 2015.

This project is constituent part of Energy strategy of Ukraine for the period till the year 2030 and planned construction of South Ring of main networks 750 kV. Owing to “ZTR” PJSC equipment, safety operation of electric networks of the region along with possibility of parallel operation with European power systems will be ensured, which finely should lead to increase of electricity export.
