ZTR transformer for Argentina was successfully tested

Transformer rated for power 300 MVA, voltage class 500 kV for interstate Argentina-Uruguay power company  CTM Salto Grande was successfully tested by “Zaporozhtransformator” (ZTR) PJSC.  Transformer is intended for operation at substation Colonia Elia, city Concepcion del Uruguay, Argentine.

Routine tests were witnessed by the Customer representatives from Argentina and Uruguay.  Within the negotiations decision as for transformer technological improvement was taken, it simplified structure and improve reliability of equipment. In the year 2013 similar transformer was manufactured by ZTR for interstate power company, that`s why it could confirm terms of delivery and readiness as for technological and design documentation.

Within the inspection representatives of Salto Grande has confirmed full correspondence of transformer characteristics to specified contract requirements.  

Equipment dispatch according to new contract was scheduled to October of the year 2014.

Collaboration between “Zaporozhtransformator” PJSC and company CTM Salto Grande are lasted for a long period.   First equipment was delivered in the year 1998. That year 10 single phase transformers rated for power 100 MVA, voltage class 500 kB were manufactured by ZTR for HPP Salto Grande on the boundary between Uruguay and Argentina.
