Civilized business means business with responsibility for social questions
Corporative social responsibility - ethical conducting of the business as related to human society – is not something exotic or unfamiliar for ZTR. We comprehend that our commercial activity directly effected on the society we are living in, and future business success is closely related to the dominant social values. We are trying not only to contribute to the economic development of the region, country, branch, to improve life standard of our employees and their families, but also to the local community as a whole.
ZTR occupies active position in the life of our region: transfer taxes and other takings into the budget of various levels, job placement and social guaranties for the employees. ZTR is a socially-directed enterprise rendering a charitable assistance to veteran organizations, schools, boarding-schools and kindergartens, charity kindergarten “Nadezhda”, and being a sponsor of repeated handball champion of Ukraine “ZTR” team, etc.
A complete complex of social programs is developed and acting at ZTR, which are significant part of corporation strategy. Keeping the traditions, the dominant social tendencies are continuously developed; it means a comprehensive approach to the health protection: medical insurance, popularization of health way of life, organization of condition for the recovery of our employees, organization of employees` recreation, rehabilitation of the families and the rest of our staff children in the recreation camp. Sanatorium - preventorium is also very popular among our employees; it is located in the picturesque area of Khortitsa island – pearl of Zaporozhye region. Yearly 1200 employees and 120 labour veterans are recreated in this facility.
Our sport complex is permanently functioning facility. There are many sport sections for our employees and their children. Well–handled sport base makes possible for every interested person to better their health conditions and also to participate in regional, city, provincial competitions. Traditionally, our employees win the top-level places in such competitions.
The company supports the activity of ZTR Culture Palace. Different amateur theatricals are attended by our employees’ children. Corporative arrangements, festive and thematic concerts, art exhibitions and fairs of national consumption goods are carried out in this Culture Palace. The former employees of ZTR company have meetings there for communication and participating in the concerts, festivals, etc. Our Palace is famous for its veteran choir “Zhyvaya pamyat`” which includes the veterans of our company.
The company expresses a profound respect as referred to ZTR labour veterans and always gives the assistance to our veterans’ organization – this includes organization of meetings, festivals, financial assistance. The company employees who are in need of assistance are also considered: indigent persons, families possessing many children, employees with handicapped-children. The welfare program for the persons of these categories is available and successfully realized.
The employees may have their lunch in the well-built canteens and buffets arranged at the area of the company. A wide variety of dishes with national cuisine, specialty of the house, various pastries are always at the service. The whole nourishment system is supported by company so this results in quality, appetizing and (loyal) low-price food.
Same as in any other activity, the social field has no limits as for the goal attainment. Yearly the new projects aimed for improvement of the company employees’ life standard are developed.
