“Design, manufacture, mounting and operation of transformers, autotransformers as well as non-controlled and controlled shunt reactors produced by ZTR”

JSC “Zaporozhtransformator” seminar was dedicated to the matters of design, manufacture, mounting and operation of transformers and autotransformers as well as non-controlled and controlled shunt reactors produced by ZTR.

The reports as referred to the following subjects were prepared by ZTR:

1. JSC “Zaporozhtransformator”. Goals and objectives of ZTR commercial department as referred to interactions with the customers.
2. General and special purpose transformers rated for voltages up to 220 kV. The present-day design and optimization methods, the technical and economic indices achieved.
3. Power transformers and autotransformers rated for 220-1150 kV. The present-day design and optimization methods, the technical and economic indices achieved.
4. Production of electrical reactors rated for voltage class 35-800 kV. ZTR progress in the scope of electric reactors production.
5. Improvement of ZTR transformer equipment designs, production technologies and testing.
6. “Controlled Shunt reactors (CSR) are the new type of electrotechnical equipment”. Principle of operation of CSR. Existing designs and modification. CSR application in the power networks. Tasks to be solved and advantages of application.
7. Urgent questions of ZTR equipment operation and diagnostics. Lines of ZTR Service Center development. Repair problems. Modernization projects.

Technical and commercial aspects as related to interaction within the ordering and progressing stages were discussed at the seminar. On the seminar completion the participants showed interest in realization of co-projects.
